CEMETERY RULES/RESTRICTIONS
CEMETERY HOURS
8am - 6pm
This Catholic Cemetery is a holy place. These sacred grounds are blessed by the church and dedicated as a place of prayer and dignity for the faithfully departed. Please maintain a quiet reverence and respect for the other people visiting the graves of loved ones. Please abide by the following:
Planting of rosebushes, shrubs or trees is not allowed.
The following are also prohibited around graves or memorials: curbing, fencing, borders, benches, glass containers.
Decorations may be placed within 6 inches of front and side edges of the headstone ONLY. Decorations are not allowed behind monuments or at the foot of the grave.
Any and all of the above are subject to removal by cemetery management at any time.
ATVs and recreational activities are strictly prohibited.
Anyone loitering after closing will be considered trespassing.
Families of the deceased are responsible for maintenance and care of monuments.
Only one monument/marker is allowed on each plot except in the case of a Veteran's marker which may be placed at the foot of the grave.
It is the responsibility of the family to verify with cemetery management correct placement and insciptions of memorials and markers.
Removal of plants, trees, unsightly flowers, emblems, etc. may be done at the discretion of cemetery management without prior notice.

Marilyn Rivas has managed St. Jerome Cemetery since 2012, assisting families and individuals in immediate and pre-need burial arrangements. Marilyn has lived and worked in the parish for more than 30 years. She began her tenure under Fr. Thomas O’Brien as parish secretary, hall manager, and cemetery manager, and continued to work for Fr. John Flanagan during his first few years as pastor. She has held several offices in both the ladies auxiliary (now the Altar Society) and C.Y.O., in which she was voted Archdiocesan C.Y.O. Woman of the Year. Marilyn has volunteered at past festivals and church socials. She has also helped design quilts for festival auctions and organized a team to sew the quilts. She is a member of the Saturday evening Mass choir. Marilyn is honored to provide comfort and assistance to families and individuals during some of their most difficult moments.
